How to Change the Shape and Dimension of Stamping Die

The die of Dalian stamping die separates material along closed or open contour lines. Such as blanking die, punching die, cutting die, cutting die, trimming die, cutting die, etc. The bending die makes the blank or other blanks bend along a straight line (bending line), so as to obtain a certain angle and shape of the workpiece die.

The drawing die is a die which makes the blank of sheet metal into open hollow parts or makes the hollow parts change their shape and size further. Forming die is a kind of die which directly replicates the blank or semi-finished workpiece according to the shape of convex and concave die, while the material itself only produces local plastic deformation. Such as bulging die, necking die, expanding die, undulating forming die, flanging die, shaping die, etc. The single process die only completes one sequence in one stroke of the press.

The compound die has only one working station. In one stroke of the press, two or more working procedures are completed simultaneously at the same working station. The progressive die (also called continuous die) has two or more positions in the direction of blank feeding. During one stroke of the press, two or more working procedures are completed one by one at different positions.

Maintenance of continuous die must be careful, patient and orderly, and should not be done blindly. Material tape should be attached when repairing the mould due to the malfunction, so as to inquire into the problem. Open the die, check the condition of the die, confirm the cause of the failure, find out the problem, and then clean up the die before the die can be disassembled.
