The situation of stamping parts with different burr directions

  The material is separated from elastic deformation, plastic deformation and fracture under punching and shearing of punch and concave dies. Because of the gap between the punch and the concave die, the burr (or batch front) is usually called when the material is pulled apart and the burr edge exceeds the thickness of the sheet metal in the separation direction. According to the above description, the burr direction of the corresponding blanking contour can be judged by clarifying the relationship between the position change of stamping parts and scrap in the blanking process.

  In the design of the die, the orientation of the product in the die should be considered. The burr surface (i.e. the burr direction) of the product marked on the drawing is usually downward and the smooth surface (i.e. the non-burr surface) is upward. But in the stamping process, the same movement of the punching die is up and down, but there are two different burr directions: "burr in the hole when the part punches down" and "burr on the cutting edge when the part blanks down".

  Compared with castings and forgings, Dalian stamping parts are thin, uniform, light and strong. Stamping can produce workpieces with stiffeners, ribs, undulations or flanges which are difficult to manufacture by other methods to improve their rigidity. Because of the use of precision die, the precision of workpiece can reach micron level, and the repetition accuracy is high, the specifications are consistent, and holes and convex tables can be punched out.
